Al-Omariya Palace in Bashiqa district, which was inhabited by the Yazidi magistrate (Wali) Mirza Al-Dasni during the conflict between the Ottomans and the Safavids in 1638، become now part of the Archeology and Heritage Commission of the Iraqi Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities.
